KPG 193 BPESD-11

KPG 193 BPESD-11 extends the KPG 193 test system with Korean transmission grid scenarios from 2024 to 2038, based on Korea’s 11th Basic Plan for Long-Term Electricity Supply and Demand (BPESD-11, 11차 전력수급기본계획). It provides yearly MATPOWER-compatible network snapshots across the full planning horizon.

Across the planning horizon:

• 61 generator additions, 49 generator retirements
• 207 AC branch additions, 7 DC line additions
• 15 years of hourly profiles (2024–2038)

Datasets and documentation

• Removed the 2022–2023 scenario folders; results derived from those years are not reproduced in this version — use v1.5.0 for those.
• README and network evolution GIF updated to the 2024–2038 range.
• Scope: 2024–2038 (15 years).
